Chairman Green: “This Is Not the End of Our Efforts to Hold Secretary Mayorkas Accountable”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green, MD (R-TN) released the following statement after the House of Representatives’ vote on impeachment articles against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for high crimes and misdemeanors:
“While I’m disappointed in the outcome of today’s vote, this is not the end of our efforts to hold Secretary Mayorkas accountable. I look forward to Leader Scalise’s return.”
