Members may nominate up to ten individuals for each vacant academy slot allotted to their district. To request a Service Academy Nomination, applicants need to complete the request form, linked here. Once the form is complete, the applicant will receive the application.
Rep. Green said, “As a cadet on the Plain at West Point, I swore an oath to protect and defend our nation. That oath led me to a lifetime of service and drives me to this day. Tennessee’s students are the best of the best, and I know they will go on to excel in their chosen fields of study and in service to our great nation. Military Service Academies are some of the finest academic institutions in the world, immersing cadets and midshipmen in engineering, advanced robotics, cutting-edge research, and leadership. The rigorous curriculum creates leaders for life by teaching how to lead with courage, serve with honor, and strive for excellence each day. I commend every young Tennessean who feels called to serve.”
