Rep. Mark Green to Host Third Annual Service Academy Day

Franklin, Tenn.—Rep. Mark Green will host his third annual Service Academy Day at Franklin High School on Saturday, October 2nd, from 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM. Formal program will begin at 12:30 PM.

I'll never forget when I approached my Congressman in Mississippi many years ago for a Service Academy nomination. Attending West Point was a great honor, and my time there led me to a lifetime of service,” Rep. Green said. “I look forward to speaking with students interested in following that same path.

Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy will be in attendance, as well as representatives from Army, Navy, and Air Force ROTC.

This event is open to the public including students, parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and those interested in learning more about the Service Academy nomination process.
