Rep. Green Kicks Off Annual Congressional Art Competition

WASHINGTON—The office of Rep. Mark Green is now taking submissions to the Congressional Art Competition from students of Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District. The deadline to submit artwork is Friday, April 11th, 2025, by 5:00pm CT.

Rep. Green said, “It’s an honor to recognize the special talents and creative abilities of Tennessee’s students. I’m looking forward to seeing what amazing pieces are submitted to my office this year. Good luck to all our students!” 

Background:

Each spring, a nationwide high school arts competition is sponsored by Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 to provide an opportunity for Members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Since then, over 650,000 high school students have been involved with the nationwide competition.
