At over $28 trillion today, our national debt is perhaps the greatest threat to our children and grandchildren’s future. We don’t have a revenue problem in America—we have a spending problem. The government needs to start living within its means, and cut unnecessary and wasteful programs. We should pass a Balanced Budget Amendment to ensure the federal government is subject to the same spending restraints as our states.
