SBA Announces Disaster Loan Assistance in Tennessee

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Today, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) designated Tennessee as an economic disaster area, a move that will allow small business owners to apply for low-interest federal disaster loans amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Rep. Green said, “I am grateful to the Small Business Administration for allowing Tennesseans to access critical low-interest loans for their small businesses and non-profits. As our communities and businesses continue to face the economic impacts of COVID-19, this designation will be a crucial step in providing small businesses the economic capital necessary to overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.”

SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans offer low-interest loans up to $2 million per small business. For additional information, constituents may contact the SBA disaster assistance customer service center at 1-800-659-2955 or disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
